Adidas MT bike shoes
« on: February 03, 2009, 12:23:20 PM »
Got these cheapy shoes (don't ask me the model #/name cause I have no clue) but they were $60 with a set of Wellgo one sided Snap in's. both were great to learn with. ( I just can't bring myself to call something I clip into.. clipless!!)

Though they were a bit uncomfortable at first they have broken in nicely!!  :D going on their 3rd season now and still in good shape and last year I used them a LOT!!!! no real wear spots, taken many a hit from rocks, trees, branches and such and are holding up very well.

The mount for the cleat is nice and strong and has held up well even with my hundreds of adjustments while getting used to using SnapShoes (sounds better than clipless doesn't it?)

They did really hurt my feet the first few times, but, I soaked them once heavy and worm them till they dried ( kinda like leather shoes of old) they didn't shrink to my feet like leather does but they did reshape a bit for a much better fit!

I give them an 8 of of 10.. the foot pain brings it down to a 6 or even 5 but the price brings it right back up.. and they are fine after a few rides and a soaking
May your last ride not be, "your last ride"!!
