Marin Palisades Trail
« on: February 05, 2009, 05:03:37 PM »
Last year I broke my tried and true Specialized Stumpjumper frame..I used this bike as my commute/shop do everything Hardtail.. it was my road bike for over 10 years. My LBS called up Marin to look for some "leftovers" in my size. and along came the Palisades trail.
First off the bike is very light. secondly it comes with work horse , no frills components and disc brakes ( Hayes Sole).
The bike looks great with its curved TopTube.. very sexy looking. I loved the feel of this bike right of the bat.. which is usually not the case for me. It has not only replaced my day to day commute/errand bike.. I also love taking it out on the trails. I would have never given up my stumpy if it didnt break, (mostly due to the memories) But I'm kinda glad it did. Im enjoying the ride even more
