I am a Schwalbe convert.
I used to swear by Specialized Controls (until they were discontinued), used Conti Vertical pros for years, then tried a pair of Fat Alberts off a friends bike.
I have not used a different tire in almost 4 years now. They are amazing. They stick anywhere and everywhere, have amazing low rolling resistance - not unlike the Nevegals which feel like you are riding thru glue - and are tough as nails with the snake skin sides. I use the 2.35 because I am a big person - 235lbs ride weight, but they come in 2.1 and 2.25 also.
One of these days I will try the new directional front/rear specific Fat Alberts, but at the rate these tires wear, I don't think that will be any time soon! haha!
