Kenda Small block 8

I fell in love with my EWR and have been riding it everywhere including the street.. my only problem is that I feel like im beating up my Kenda nevegals on the road plus they just feel sluggish. So at first I was going to purchase a pair of Schwalbe "Big Apples". mostly because I want to ride the EWR in the 5 borough tour, but then I figured I could comprimise.. something low profile, that can still rock in the dirt..

Hello Small Block 8's . You can pump them up to 80PSI for cruising , but they still rock on the dirt.. not so much in muddy condition though .. Im happy

Although i'm running these in a 29 size and tubeless, i'm lovin them more than expected.
First off, i'm running them tubeless. It took alot of "extra effort" to seal them up cause they ain't UST for sure. With very pourus sidewalls, they were a bee-atch to seal but well worth the effort.
At low pressures they are a dream. The transition from bottom tread to edges is seamless...no bumpy edges. With lower pressures these tires maintain a good roll in conjuction with lots of gripping power. Of course very very loose gravel is not what these tires are about...but give them some hardpack, even damp trails are carved nicely by these tires.
Gotta give 'em a 10-10. :thumb:
The bitterness of poor workmanship remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten...
