was bored, and not feeling like dealing with weather today I went out and fired up my garage gas heater... and decided I'd play with the rear wheel, tear it down and clean everything and while I was at it I weighed all the part just for the fun of it.. before and after cleaning....
First off I lost about 75 grams of dirt!!!
Second off, I'm REALLY glad I did it because I had to very loose spokes!!!!
I did tighten it up and true the wheel but it seems to be making some spoke rub noises... I took it for a ride to settle the spokes but it's still doing it. Off to the shop with them tomorrow
And to top it off the little screw that held the cassette together was WAY loose also
SO.. what did I learn... be more anal... clean more often!!
