Just a big fan of Kona.  Exceptional quality.  Great design.  Never rode the Commencial but I did ride a Stinky once and if it weren't for the price I would have bought it.  The only drawback to it is the weight but you should know that going into that bike.

Ok...............I got the guy with the Stinky Deeluxe......down to $800.00

It's an 07 with stock parts and NO FRAME damage.  No BB damage. He's selling to upgrade and it's my fortune.  Gonna pick it up monday.

I want the bike to be a little heavier, for me.  I'm not into jumping and like the added weight to keep the bike "stuck" to the ground( so to speak) on those rocky DH runs!

THX for all the input!!

I'll post up an actual REVIEW  :undecided: :cheesy: after I pick her up and get her tuned!!

Ibis Mojo SL, rode with a guy who just bought his, thought about leaving him in the woods and riding out on it :undecided:. It was love at first sight, but I have a thing for Carbon frames ::)

Sorry to hijack the thread, should have read the string first, but I still would rather have the MOJO!!

UPDATE:

I purchased the Stinky Dee( Cracker Deluxe) and had it tuned up and inspected.  WHat a sweet ride.  Gotta fit it to me and make minor adjustments.  Diablo and other spots open soon.  PRobably gonna take her to CUnny soon for a suffer fest.  She's 44#'a of mayhem......a real biatch to pedal but gotta get used to her.

I'll post up some pics and updates after the first day on the mountain!

So I took the Cracker Deluxe to DIablo a few weeks ago and............

She handled like a champ.  A little nose heavy in the jumps, but I think that was more me getting used to her geometry more than the actual weight.
TORE through the rock gardens like a muther!! SHe ate up those lines something fierce.

I bottomed out the suspension( front and rear) once on a four foot drop to flat landing at slow speed, so I think next year I'll be buying a new shock and fork( or at least having the fork serviced to my fat arse!!).

Purchased Deity DIrty Thirty Bars and at 30" they should be sweet!

My plans are to bring her down to a 1x9 and self strip and clear coat the frame by summers end!

More to follow..........same bat time..........same bat channel

edited to add: much to my chagrin to have to admit this to mr llama..........but I did suffer ONE pinch flat...........ONE!!  grrrrrrrr!!!

if you only bottom it out once you're good... if your system is set up correctly and operating good you should bottom it out once or twice every ride.   :D

just once?

need to add air to those tires, with those big squish bikes you should be right around 35lbs-40lbs.. with the harder downhill type tires you actually loose some traction by under pressuring the tire.. basically the tire structure flexes up and in and doesn't push the knobs down into the ground.. if that make sense.

Actually mosy DH'ers run SUB 30psi.  I was running 32 front and 30 rear and snake bit it in a rockgarden.  totally my fault.  I'm gonna run 32-34 psi rear and go 30-32 front this sunday and see what happens!!
