Mavic Crossmax XL
« on: January 18, 2009, 09:29:50 AM »
I've been on these wheels for almost 3 years now. They are stiff, strong and lighter than anything I have ever had. And that includes a few sets that Doug at Bike Junkie hand built for me - XTR/Valliant/DT.
I had one spoke break form picking up a huge branch. The cost was $20 per spoke, but I think still worth it, considering how much useage I have been getting.

If you can afford them, go for it, you will not be dissapointed.

Jeff...........How much does a set go for?
