OK, I just got this bazaar Idea and wanted to see if a few of you'd like to do this...
Basically we as a group buy an inexpensive helmet Cam.. (this is the one I'm thinking of

everyone pitches in the same amount.. and we each get to use it for a month. basically you play with it... vid some of your favorite trails and e-mail them to me. then you mail it off to the next guy. at the end of the set time (figuring either 6 months or a yr) I/we assemble and edit an ECTRR.com trail video. The camera gets raffled off to one of those that was involved. Or if someone wants to buy everyone else out.. what ever, we can decide as a group. hey maybe even start a new yr of vid-ing and have the next group pitch in.... bla bla bla.. just thoughts...
So.. anyone interested? If we can get 6 of us it'll come to about 25 bucks each.. not bad to "rent " the cam for a month.
Sorta thought it'd be cool to have a cam like that.. but how much would you really use it? record your fav trails.. then what? thinking it would get tiring to just record every ride. so you'd use it a lot at first ( like for a month
) and then it would sit.....
so why shell out a bunch of mulla for one. also those that would like to play with one but can't really justify it to Mr or Ms Wallet can now give it a go....
some stuff would have to be worked out and agreed upon.... but I think it'd be very cool!!
