The KHS XC 204 is really a great frame..highly recommended for those who would like to experience the joy of riding a full suspension frame for an affordable price. It's a good trail bike to start off with, forgiving on bumpy trails when going downhill Climbing could be easier on this bike with some wieght loss. Great bang for the buck. 8 out of 10 in my book.

ya, I have been looking around the web at that bike ever since you said you got it.. they are pretty highly rated for a basic start Full squish bike.  Did you ever go back and set the sag on the rear shock?  everything on it nice stuff. not top of the line or anything but far from the cheapy crap they stick on most lower priced bikes.  About the only thing I didn't reading bout it is the Dart front fork.. not a big fan of spring forks. But certianly better than a rigid fork   :o   ;D  And for the price range.. it's a super bike!!

Hey, how big are you?  If you make it out here I kinda want to take it for a ride around the parking lot..

anyway, enjoy it.. you made a good purchase!!

i got the white one and am 5' 8" and about 215. I'm gonna try to get over ther either tomorrow or Friday to set up the fork and shock. yea i'm pretty happy overall my first squish nevr had one before the parts aren't crap that are pput on bikes in this price range khs set a high standard of bang for the buck. and yea you can give it whirl when i get out there for the ct ride. or if you're out here any time soon. going sat and possibly sunday to cp for a ride an the climb ride if you can make it.

good luck with that ( not sarcastic) i figure go for a few easy rides get used to the bike and get back into shape after being a fat arse for so long. I hope to shed more pounds but being on vacation I let everything go and gained a few pounds from eating junk all week.
