Road-ID
« on: June 23, 2009, 01:37:14 PM »
I picked up one of these ID's, got it yesterday and it looks great.  I am wearing it today to see if it annoyed me, and I don't even know its there.... feels like a watch, but without the time.

It's a very simple idea, very inexpensive, and their site is easy to use to choose what you want on the tag.  I figured for $20, if it saves me a few minutes to the E.R. in a bad situation, it's worth it.  If I never need it, GREAT!

I went with:

Name, DOB
Town, State, Zip, USA
Home phone/wife's cell
Parents' number
Asthma / O-Postive blood type
Allergic to Amoxicillin

With all the outdoor stuff that I do, MTB riding, road biking, hiking, motocross, motorcycles, skiing, etc - you never know....

Do you ride hard?  Is it who you are?  Or is it too early to tell?

Do the bands come in pink?

I just ride with a dog tag (from when I was in the service) in my camel.

hmm not a bad ID-ea  ;D  I carry my old license with me so that just as good, but if you haven't lost yours and them found it again after getting a new one you probably don't have an extra license so this is a good thing. :D
May your last ride not be, "your last ride"!!

When I ride my MX bike, I have no ID on me, its in the car....  In the trails, it might be in the camelbak.. etc.  This is right there on my wrist, or ankle if I can get some sort of clip to extend it just half an inch.
