Sette Flo Pack
« on: August 10, 2009, 05:38:06 PM »
well I got it to have a larger pac for those hazy, hot, humid days.  It's a 100 ounce (2.9 liter). Now the biggest issue is the bag. It's to flimsy. you fill it and it sags down to the bottom of the pack. there are velcro straps to hold it up inside the bladder pocket, if you can get to them.  ::) which is rather difficult to say the least and add trying to fiddle with a bladder full of water and it spells trouble. The flimsy bladder also kinda bubbles out into your back so the "air chamber" between the to side pads becomes useless.

now for the good...  ;D  It's big with out feeling hugh on you back. It actually feels lighter than my 70 ounce. Straps are pretty adjustable and have little velcro ends to keep the extra from flapping in  the breeze!!  ;D ;D :cheesy: :cheesy: BIG plus in my book. The waist strap does seem to come loose a lot, annoying but not so bad it's going to come off or anything.
The pockets are big and tall so those longer items (shock & tire pumps) fit with a breeze. plenty of room and the have webbing on the lower section to keep things in when you un-zip. Nice design there!! She's comfortable on the shoulders and such, chest strap keeps it all in place. Straps on the back to hold those big things, like.. ummm ski poles?  ^-^ has a little softy pocket for an MP3 player if you are one of those people who'd put it there? (water and MP3 player? even if it the bag is sealed perfect, the bag sweats... :undecided:    I got my tie clip shuffle I clip in the straps.)

I could go on about the little things but are they so important?  IT ONLY A $20 PACK!!  ^-^ ^-^ ^-^ ^-^

I give it a 4 out of 5 for value
and a 3 out of 5 total... if it had a better bag and/or shape to your back it'd be a 5 out of 5

if you don't own a pack or just want a slightly bigger one than your everyday 50-70, for $20 you can't go wrong.
if you want a nicer pack than the one you have, look else where!  :undecided:
