I poached this from
PinkBike and thought I post it here.
I did this to my DH bike because I was cash poor and couldn't afford a REAL chain guide and to change to a 1x9 yet..........so............
It works AWESOME!!! It took like 10 minutes of work to set it up and another 10 minutes of tweaking to make it run smooth. But it works. Keeps the chain inplace virtually 99% of the time even during long rock gardens and big drops!
