Today's ride was nothing out of the ordinary.
Yet, i felt quite complete and content afterwards.
No high mileage, no killer pace, mellow ridebuds.
I tagged onto DirtDog's ride. He had a couple of gracious guests. Within moments of meeting DirtDog's ridebuds, i knew they were really into MTB'ing. Their bikes were "well put together" and they were happy to be at the trailhead.
As the ride progressed north, we came upon another couple of riders we knew that were headed in the opposite direction. I opted to ride back with them, to the starting point, and hung out and chatted.
Sometimes a "nothing special" type of ride is all you need to get a good MTB fix.
MTB junkies are what we are. ...And we're proud of it!
