Variations On A Theme

Lots and lots of MTB's to choose from. More than ever.
So many of these bikes look so similar. Some geometries are shared by many companies ie: "Horst Link", "4-Bar", "Single Pivot", "Stable Platform", "Knuckle-Box Suspension", and so it goes.
Every now and then a new bike catches my eye, and despite the fact that i'm not presently in the market for a new bike, i pretend to consider it my next ride.
Yes i'm a gear slut. Yes i have multiple bikes. Yes i like the look of this new Diamond Back bike that was shown at Interbike.
The funny part of it is how DB bills the frame material as: "Weapons-grade aluminum".
THAT is just way too funny. Hype? BS? Who knows?
It is pretty though IMHO.
The bitterness of poor workmanship remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten...

ya, it's pretty. I think DBack is trying to get back to being a decent bike company not just the department store brand they have become to be known as.
May your last ride not be, "your last ride"!!

I am lucky to go to Interbike and drool over all the beautiful new bikes, each one nicer than the next. This year the MOJO HD caught my eye!! I have taken the Regular Mjoj for a spin and loved it, if the HD is anything like that im sold!! I already sold off my intense 6.6 to make room!!!

The Mojo is my dream bike!! Got a thing for carbon. Maybe after you get it maybe I can take a ride :halo: ^-^
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty well preserved body but rather to skid broadside totally worn out proclaiming “”WOW What a RIDE!”

reminds me of the carrying handle on the M16 when I was in the army.  Love the color!
