Ergon GA-1

I've been looking for an exceptional set of grips for nearly a year.
The old grips were torn, gooey and twisting on the bar.
So many ridebuds told me about the Ergon's, but I didn't want that "paddle-like" design for which Ergon is so well known.
The GA-1's are round, not eliptical and flattened...Just what I wanted.
But how would they perform??

The included instructions are a wee-bit vague (pictorial form with some poorly translated text).
Also, regarding the lock-on hardware: The included instructions say "hardware facing forward. Yet on their website: "hardware facing backwards"
...a minor point that just might be the user's preference?  :undecided:

But once the concept is understood, the user must align the grips according to the reference markings. Then you can tweak them into your personalized positions.
They are super-compfy and hard. No squish. None whatsoever. It amazes me how such a firm grip can be so comfortable.
Because they are firm/hard, there's excellent control of the bar leading to improved handling of the front wheel and the entire front-end of the bike.

These grips deliver.
10/10
The bitterness of poor workmanship remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten...
